House Oona has 14 studios in one gated building in BKC Annexe, 1.3 km from the US Consulate General. That is 5 to 10 minutes by cab, or about 20 minutes on foot.
You cannot take a mobile phone into the consulate, and the consulate does not store it for you. Whatever you cannot carry in has to stay where you are staying.
Every studio has a kitchen, a washing machine and self check-in. There is no minimum stay, so you can book one night or several weeks.

The US Consulate General is at C-49, G-Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051. It is inside BKC, the business district on the east side of Bandra. It is not in south Mumbai.

Before your appointment
The consulate has strict rules about what you may bring inside:
- Mobile phones are not permitted.
- Most purses and bags are not permitted.
- The consulate does not provide storage.
- Carry only the documents you need, in an unsealed plastic bag or folder.
- Attorneys cannot accompany applicants into the waiting room or the interview.
- One person may accompany an applicant who is under 18, elderly or disabled.

Biometrics and the interview are separate appointments
Your photograph and fingerprints are taken at a Visa Application Centre. This is a separate appointment, at a different address, before your consulate interview.
If the biometrics appointment is not completed, the consulate cancels the interview.

Our BKC studios
Our 14 studios are in the same gated building in BKC Annexe, on the Kurla West side. Each one has:
- 350 sq ft of space
- A private kitchen
- A washing machine
- Self check-in
- Free parking inside the building
- Security guards at the gate and the lobby, and CCTV in the common areas
- Access to the rooftop pool and gym at set hours, which are listed on each apartment page
All 14 are the same layout. A family or a group can book several and everyone gets the same room.
There is no minimum stay. You can book a single night. For stays of 30 nights or more, the long stay rate applies automatically when you enter your dates.
House Oona does not have a front desk, a bellhop or a waiting lobby. You get a private apartment with self check-in, 1.3 km from the consulate.
